Join us for a ride sometime. Landry's Group Rides are a great way to stay in shape, train for an upcoming event, and meet new friends. See our ride descriptions and details below.

General Info

  • All Landry's Group Rides are FREE of charge. Join us for the fun and spread the word!
  • Registration is required for all participants (once per year). Register now.
  • Bring your bike (in good working condition), helmet (required), spare tube, water, and flat-repair tools. See our list of recommended equipment for longer and better rides.
  • Front and rear lights are suggested for all rides.
  • Please arrive early to set up your bike before the ride.
  • Steady rain or thunderstorm will cancel a scheduled ride.
  • Road bikes are recommended for on-road group rides.
  • Mountain-bike rides will depend on trail conditions.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED for Landry's Group Rides

Landry's Group Ride waivers need to be submitted once per year by all riders.

LANDRY'S / BOSTON Group Rides

BOSTON "Slow Roll" Social Ride: Monday nights.  Season start date: Now riding. Weekly social rides, suitable for hybrid-bike riders, around 10 miles round-trip with a snack stop in the middle. Ride starts 6:30pm from Landry's Boston store. Pace will be casual, and routes will vary each week. Bring your bicycle, helmet, and whatever else you need to ride comfortably. Flashing lights are encouraged, and feel free to leave the spandex at home.

BOSTON Road Ride: Wednesday nights.  Season start date: Now ridingWeekly ride through mid-September, meeting at 5:40pm, sponsored by Landry's Boston store. Weekly, moderate-paced, on-road group ride with focus on making new friends. Ride meets in the parking lot behind Landry's Boston store. Organized by Green Line Velo. Check GLV website for this week's ride status.

BOSTON MTB Ride: Wednesday nights.  Season start date: Now ridingWeekly off-road, mountain-bike group rides, sponsored by Landry's Boston and Charlestown stores. Arrive by 5:45pm (6:00pm rollout) for a ride around Middlesex Fells Reservation. Meet in back of Medford High School parking lot. Cross-country or trail/mtn bike is recommended. Trail route, 7.4 miles.

LANDRY'S / BRAINTREE Group Rides

BRAINTREE MTB Ride: Thursday nights.  Season start date: Now ridingWeekly off-road, mountain-bike group rides in Blue Hills Reservation. Meet 5:45pm at Houghton's Pond parking lot. Intermediate/advanced level ride on full-suspension mountain bikes, returning by 8:00pm. We'll be riding some of the tougher technical features and fun downhill trails at Blue Hills. Knee pads, eye protection, and lights suggested. MTB-specific helmet required. 

BRAINTREE Road Ride: Saturday mornings.  Season start date: Now riding. Weekly on-road group rides, through mid-September. The ride offers different routes and paces, suitable for drop-handlebar road bikes:  mild 13-15 mph (with focus on group-ride learning), medium 16-18 mph, and faster 18-20, depending on group attendance. Meet at Landry's Braintree store at 6:45am. Ride starts at 7:00am and returns to the store around 9:00-9:30am.

LANDRY'S / CHARLESTOWN Group Rides

CHARLESTOWN MTB Ride: Wednesday nights.  Season start date: Now ridingWeekly off-road, mountain-bike group rides, sponsored by Landry's Charlestown and Boston stores.  Arrive by 5:45pm (6:00pm rollout) for a ride around Middlesex Fells Reservation. Meet in back of Medford High School parking lot. Cross-country or trail/mtn bike is recommended. Trail route, 7.4 miles.

CHARLESTOWN Road Ride: Sunday mornings.  Season start date: June 26, 2022. Ride starts at 7:30am from the Charlestown store. Arrive early to park and get ready to ride. Weekly, beginner-oriented 21-mile route. Free 3-hour parking available if needed.

LANDRY'S / NATICK Group Rides

NATICK MTB Ride: Tuesday nights.  Season start date: Now riding. Weekly off-road, mountain-bike group rides, variable levels, approx. 8 miles, through October. Meet 5:45pm at the Adams Street parking lot in Holliston for a ride around the Vietnam trails.

NATICK Road Ride: Wednesday nights.  Season start date: Now ridingRide starts at 6:00pm from the Natick store, through September. Weekly, moderate-paced, on-road group rides in spring and summer, approx 25 miles. Meet at Landry's Natick store.

LANDRY'S / NEWTON Group Rides

NEWTON Women's MTB Ride:  Various dates, different trail locations.  Season start date: Now riding. Mountain-bike group rides for women, intermediate level, sponsored by Landry's Newton store. Cross-country or trail/mtn bike is recommended. See Landry's Events Calendar for upcoming ride dates and locations.

NEWTON Road Ride: Tuesday nights.  Season start date: Now ridingWeekly on-road group rides in spring and summer (weather depending), 23-mile loop into Dover and back, suitable for drop-handlebar road bikes. Arrive by 5:15pm. Ride starts at 5:30pm from the Newton store. We will break into different groups depending on speed. Pace: "C" Group 13-14 mph, "B" Group 16-17 mph, and "A" Group 18+ mph and ride alone or with others you can keep up with. We will return to the shop for pizza, drinks, and socializing afterwards.

LANDRY'S / NORWOOD Group Rides

NORWOOD MTB Ride: Tuesday nights.  Season start date: Now ridingWeekly off-road, mountain-bike group rides. Start time 6:00pm at Adams Farm in Walpole. All skill levels welcome; women encouraged. Cross-country or trail/mtn bike is recommended. Bring helmet, lights, and water. Duration of ride will be 1.0–1.5 hours.

NORWOOD Road Ride: Wednesday nights.  Season start date: Now ridingWeekly on-road group rides, through August. The ride offers different paces, suitable for drop-handlebar road bikes. Meet at Landry's Norwood store at 5:15pm. Ride starts at 5:30pm. Distance will range around 20-30 miles, duration around 1.5 hours.

LANDRY'S / WESTBORO Group Rides

WESTBORO Road Ride: Saturday mornings.  Season start date: Now riding. Weekly on-road group rides through the fall (weather depending), suitable for drop-handlebar road bikes. Ride starts at 7:00am from the Westboro store. Two route options:  longer course (43 miles, 17-20 mph), shorter course (24 miles, 15-16 mph). Both routes will finish by 9:30am.

LANDRY'S / WORCESTER Group Rides

WORCESTER Casual Road Ride: Friday nights.  Season start date: Now ridingWeekly road rides thru mid-September. Ride starts 6:00pm from the Worcester store. Arrive 15 minutes early for safety talk. This ride is all about fun, fitness, and friends! We ride together in a group where no one gets left behind. We will follow a 17-20 mile route with rolling terrain, and riders will do best on a traditional drop-bar road bike. Helmets and a flat tire kit required, with daytime flashing lights encouraged.
