Remembering Jeff

Jeff Robert  (1971–2017)

Longtime Landry's employee and friend passes away

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Jeff Robert passed away suddenly on February 18, 2017, while competing in a local Fat Bike race. Jeff had been a Landry's family member since 2006 — first working at Landry's Westboro store and most recently at Landry's Worcester store as a sales associate, bike fitter, and group ride leader.

Jeff's passion for both Landry's and bicycling was unrivaled, and we will miss him terribly. Tom Henry e-mailed Landry's employees after Jeff's passing:

Dear Landry's,

The sudden and unexpected loss of Jeff Robert has shocked and saddened us all. The loss of someone so alive, strong, and passionate in the very height of his life is unimaginable.

Jeff's death has left a hole — not only in our hearts personally — but also in the heart of the company. This is a time to remember Jeff, to tell stories, to celebrate his life, and to keep him with us forever. As we remember Jeff, the love we have for him and what he represented will grow and become part of us forever.

Let's all take the time to comfort each other in this time of vulnerability, to love more dearly that which today we are so keenly aware is fragile and beautiful. May this awareness strengthen our love and our commitment to continue the good work that is our mission and our calling.

We will miss you, Jeff, and you will live in our hearts forever.

– Tom Henry, Landry's co-owner
