Awards
All of us at Landry's Bicycles are honored to receive the following national, regional, and local community awards for advancing better bicycling:

Best Bike Shop in Boston area
BEST OF BOSTON 2009 – BIKES – Boston Magazine
August 2009 — Landry's Bicycles received Boston Magazine's Best of Boston 2009 award for the best bike shop in the area.  The Boston Magazine judges referred to Landry's store as "the "two-wheeled equivalent of a BMW showroom" and commented on Landry's "myriad" selection of bikes and friendly staff who provide "oodles of know-how at no extra charge."  We are honored to receive this year's Best of Boston award for the best bicycles.

"5 Star" Top 100 Bicycle Dealer national award – 2009
April 2009 — Landry's Bicycles has again been named one of the Top 100 Bicycle Retailers in the USA.  Landry's also received a special 5 Star Retailer award for being selected a Top 100 bicycle dealer for the past five years.  The survey was conducted by Boulder Sports Research, a leading bicycle industry research company, in conjunction with the top suppliers of bikes and accessories.  More than 5,000 bicycle dealers from across the country were rated on market share, community outreach, and store appearance.  Landry's Bicycles has been honored to receive this award for the past several years (since 2000).

"Most Bicycle-Friendly Business" in Boston – 2009
April 2009 — Landry's Boston store received special recognition this year as Boston's most bicycle-friendly business, presented by Mayor Thomas Menino (who is also a Landry's customer).  Landry’s also made history earlier in April 2009 by being the first bike shop to host an official hearing for the Boston City Council.

Gold-level, national Bicycle-Friendly Business Award – 2008
September 2008 — Landry's Bicycles has received national recognition as a Bicycle-Friendly Business, awarded by the League of American Bicyclists as part of their Bicycle-Friendly America program.  This is the first time these awards were presented, and Landry's is one of only four companies nation-wide to receive the gold-level Bicycle-Friendly Business award — the highest level awarded at this time.  We were evaluated on various bike-friendly criteria in the categories of encouragement, engineering, education, and evaluation.  Read more about Landry's national Bicycle-Friendly Business Award.

This past year, Landry's raised more than $15,000 and registered nearly 400 new members for MassBike and NEMBA collectively in 2005.
