I've been biking all my life I've had low grade and high grade bikes, this bike rides pretty good, I feel like I lean to far forward, but the gears are smooth but in my opinion terrible suspension but that comes with a lower end bike. Over all pleased.
After looking at lessor bikes, this bike looked "very high-end"...which it is. Was looking for a bike that my 9 yr old daughter could transition to that would last her a while. The 24" bike we looked at was about perfect, but she would have outgrown it too quick. This bike's 13" frame and 26" wheels were perfect. I cut the seat post down 2" and it is a near perfect fit for her. This is her 3rd Specialized bike. She had a 16" when she was 3 years old, then a 20" at 5 years old, and now this bike. Even after looking at other high-end brands, I believe Specialized has an "edge" over the others in fit and use for girls/women. Even though my daughter is only "9" years old, she knows what is comfortable and easy to ride, and she clearly knew this bike fit her. When she first laid her eyes on this beautiful Black with pink and white color....she was smitten. She was able to begin using all of the gears, which is a testament to the slick design of the shifters, and balance of the bike. The smile on her face as we rode last evening was worth it all!!
