Cons

  • Uncomfortable Seat

Comments:

So far I like it for the most part. Brakes are squeaky though. Had to pay extra to get a better seat and no kickstand so that was extra too. Talk about gouging the customers.

Just got back into cycling and this bike is perfect for fitness, commuting and my overall goals. Its very responsive, surprisingly fast and comfortable, although I am going to upgrade the seat. Other than that, this is the perfect bike for some serious training, road riding and enjoying your city's best bike paths.

The bike is cat quick and a blast to ride. The gearing on the bike is amazing. Over the years ai have had some expensive road bikes and while this is not as light the gearing is better then any of them. It is a hill climbing machine. I wish the shifting was a little more precise, but it is very good for the price point. The most fun bike I have ever owned.

      Comments:

its not bad at all for the price. I got one 700c wheels 32 spokes and 27 speeds. the cassette that came with the bike got a lot of torke in any speed I found that suden burst of speed the cassette seems to have more that idss you don't get to the point where you peddle like krazy and run out of more speed. it feels like there are a two or 3 range of speed in in each gear that goes well beyond the speed range in the next gear. try to get the exact same cassette when you replace it its awsom.

        Comments:

I was riding an older mountain bike and this Trek is so much lighter and faster. I am working with bicycle shop on getting the bike set up for me; needing to adjust seat and handle bars, but a great ride. Rode 26 miles last night and other than the handles needing to be raised, a great ride.
