When we set out to create a lightweight wheelset, we didn't want it to be "just another climbing wheel." We wanted to provide the lightest wheelset out there with the aerodynamic attributes of something twice its depth. One wheel that'll get you to the base of a climb quickly and up it as efficiently as possible, yet still be strong enough for day-to-day abuse. It was a tall order, but in the end, the CLX 32 gave us more than what we asked for. Our design process started with a low overall weight at the forefront, as we knew what weight we could hit with the information and technology we had available. With that weight in mind, we then turned our focus to aerodynamics and began an iterative process of designing and testing over 150 individual rims to find the optimal shape. These innumerable Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models, Win Tunnel hours, and shots of espresso left us with a 32mm-deep shape that boasts more logged wind tunnel time than any other wheel in its category. Once we found the most aerodynamic shape, at the 32-millimter depth, we came back to the weight focus and proceeded to experiment with over 40 different layup methods to reach our desired weight. And this made the CLX 32 lighter and faster than every other competitor in the lightweight wheel category. For the CLX 32 clincher front, we mated the rim to our Aero Flange (AF) series hub with DT Swiss Aero spokes in order to create the best overall wheel system. This resulted in a 553-gram, 21mm-wide (internal width) front wheel with an extremely low inertia value. In cycling, inertia relates to the amount of force it takes to accelerate or decelerate, so wheels that are built with lightweight rims, like the CLX 32, result in a lower inertia value that creates a lively wheel that allows you to accelerate, decelerate, and change direction with less effort. But why so wide? Well, additional width does three primary things for a rim, it provides additional structural strength, it allows for a clean rim and tire interface when using wide tires (resulting in enhanced aerodynamics and faster rolling properties), and it better supports the tire in hard cornering. This boosts both predictable grip and confidence when things get twisty on the descents. Each CLX 32 clincher front wheel also employs the legendary CeramicSpeed bearings and comes with our padded wheelbag, quick-release, tubeless plugs, tubeless valve, and SwissStop Black Prince brake pads. - Assembly Method: Hand-built - Brake Track Height: 12mm - Braking Surface: Carbon fiber - Extras: Roval padded wheelbag, Roval steel quick-release, Roval tubeless plugs and tubeless valve, SwissStop Black Prince brake pads - Front Hub: Roval AF1, CeramicSpeed bearings - Nipple Type: DT Swiss Pro Lock hexagonal - Rim Depth: 32mm - Rim Material: Carbon - Rim Type: Carbon clincher, 2Bliss Ready - Rim Width: 20.7mm internal - Spoke Count: 16 - Spoke Pattern: Radial - Spoke Type: DT Swiss Aerolite T-head - Weight: 550g

First came our CLX 64. Then the 32s. And after racking up multiple wins in Grand Tours, Worlds, and everything in between, we knew that our best bet was to take the line to new heights, or well, new depths. We needed to design one wheel that was a true quiver killer. One wheel that had all the aerodynamic benefits of the 64 in a package that climbed like the 32, and that’s where the all-new CLX 50 comes in. When we set out to create the CLX 50 Disc, we had clear goals in mind—create wheels that are 48 to 54mm deep, aerodynamically optimized, ultra-wide, and under 1400 grams. This meant that they'd have to borrow some weight savings techniques that we developed for the CLX 32, take some aero guidance from the CLX 64, and keep all of the disc brake benefits that we've come to love if we were going to create what we like to call "the unicorn wheel." Why discs you ask? With our disc-specific rims, we ditch the brake track, making for a stronger, more impact-resistant rim. This way, you get a disc-specific carbon layup that optimizes stiffness, a weight as close to its rim-brake brethren as possible, and incredible brake modulation and power in all conditions. Even though the CLX 50 is similar in weight to many wheels in the "lightweight" category, aerodynamics came at the forefront of the development. With this, we jumped headlong into Computational Fluid Dynamics computer modeling to arrive at various rim shapes that could make the CLX 50 as fast and light as possible. It took a while, but we narrowed the rim shape down to three contenders that were then CNC-machined into rims, built into wheels, and put into the Win Tunnel. In the tunnel, we tested every wheel, ours and the competition's, with a 24C tire (measuring 26C), as tires can drastically affect testing. We chose a modern-width tire to design our rims around because they not only allow for less tire pressure (which results in more comfort and less rolling resistance) but are also just as aerodynamically efficient when paired with the correct rim width. After finding the optimized rim shape that best supported our svelte weight requirements, we opted to lace the rims to our Aero Flange (AF) hub, via 21 DT Swiss Aerolite spokes, which features the legendary CeramicSpeed bearings. This way you get a complete, superior wheel system—not just a quick rim. And at the end of the day, it all amounts to a 50mm-deep, 1415-gram clincher disc wheelset that's not only ~300 grams lighter than the competition’s similar depth wheel, but is also measurably faster in every conceivable test than each wheel in its category.

The age of traction, stability, and speed has arrived, and its name is the Roval Traverse 38 SL Fattie 650b wheels. They feature 148mm rear and 110mm front axle widths, but to turn them into descending machines is the 38mm internal rim width. The extra width also allows for more tire volume, which means increased suppleness in the ride quality. And not only this, but the ample width also better supports the tire, meaning that you'll experience less "burping" when riding tubeless. These wheels also include the Roval tubeless plug system, which is an easy and super lightweight solution for tubeless setups. At the front hub, you'll get a 15x110mm thru-axle (end cap options included), and at the rear, the hub features DT Swiss internals for quick engagmenet. And to top everything off, these wheels are hand-built to ensure a painstaking attention to detail. -Please note that this 148 version is exclusively designed for use with bikes designed with 110x15mm front axle and 148mm rear axle standards.

Zipp's 353 NSW Tubeless Disc-brake wheel is the pinnacle of our pursuit of versatility and speed. This wheel fuses Zipp's two most advanced approaches, Sawtooth rim profile and TSE, for an all-encompassing approach to performance. With its undulating 45mm-deep rim shape, the 353 NSW provides speed on every terrain with best-in-class aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability. The 353 NSW is Zipp's lightest tubeless wheelset yet, making it a fast-puncher ready to fight its way into the breakaway. Zipp's use of a hookless (straight side) rim in the 353 NSW is integral to achieving our mission of Making You Faster. With hookless, the transition between the tire and the rim is more seamless and aero. Zipp's hookless rims have more efficient resin distribution, which means lighter wheels. They also are highly durable. Zipp's 353 NSW's Sawtooth rim shape with Hyperfoils optimizes aerodynamic efficiency and crosswind stability. The Sawtooth design also allows the rim to be structurally strong but light. That will help you snap out of corners and maintain that speed no matter the terrain, especially in the steep, punchy stuff. The 353 NSW utilizes Zipp's Total System Efficiency, or TSE, approach to wheel design: overcoming specific barriers to speed: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses. The wheel's 25mm internal width is ideal for running wider tubeless tires at reduced air pressure for a more efficient ride. At the center of the 353 NSW is the Cognition V2 Hubset, re-engineered with an updated Axial Clutch V2 mechanism for quicker engagement and lower friction, as well as improved durability. - Versatile endurance wheel for the modern road bike with tubeless and hookless rim profile - Our lightest tubeless wheel yet, making it a fast-puncher ready to fight - Optimized tire bed for easy tire installation - TSE for greater efficiency and reduced rolling resistance - Sawtooth rim with Hyperfoil nodes and HexFin ABLC dimple pattern for top aero and crosswind-stable performance with an undulating rim depth - Cognition V2 hubset rolls efficiently whether you are pedaling or coasting. Zipp's 3ZERO MOTO carbon 29 enduro/trail wheelset is inspired by moto to provide riders with the control and durability required for pure trail speed. This wheel and its MOTO Technology have already been proven by multiple victories in the Enduro World Series with our pioneering partnership with the Lapierre Zipp Collective. While other wheel brands limit their focus to traditional box-section rim designs, Zipp engineers—uninhibited by legacy technology—took a different approach. They looked to motorsports as a model. Zipp's Moto Technology's single-wall rim is the optimal approach for an enduro/trail wheelset. The resulting rim provides something we call "ankle compliance." Imagine a runner rounding a sharp turn, the ankle naturally flexing to maintain grip as the runner leans. The 3ZERO rim can locally flex to stay parallel to the ground during cornering, increasing traction like a human ankle adjusts while running. This ability to twist locally allows it to deflect during single bead impacts without the rider getting bounced offline. 3ZERO MOTO helps you take the most direct route, saving seconds when and where they count most. At the center of the 3ZERO MOTO is the ZM2 hubset. This German-engineered hubset features 12 pawls and 132 points of engagement for a quicker response. The hub's improved seal design means better durability on rough terrain. Quarq's TireWiz is an add-on option for 3ZERO to dial in your pressure for an even more compliant ride. - Higher impact resistance - Reduced chance of pinch flatting - More traction in rough corners - Smoother ride in rocky terrain - Ability to run lower tire pressure - Reduced rider fatigue - Frustration-free tire installation - Rim is designed for compliance, creating the feel of extra suspension - German-engineered hubset features 12 pawls and 132 points of engagement for quicker response and also has improved durability - Lifetime Warranty

From the purist gravel racer to the mixed-surface fanatic, Terra CLX II provides a level of weight savings and material confidence that’s unheard of in the all-road or gravel space. This tier of weight-savings translates to rocket-like acceleration off the starting line, nimble performance in the hills, and unleashed efficiency on those loaded-down long-haul excursions. Weighing in at just 1250 grams, the Roval Terra CLX II are the lightest wheels in their class, rivaling pure climbing wheels in terms of weight and out-performing in raw toughness. We were able to get even lighter than before (50 grams lighter) by utilizing Low Flange Disc (LFD) hubs, borrowed from the Alpinist CLX II wheels. What’s being carried forward from the previous generation, is the rim. With its multiple Unbound victories, we we kept what was already class leading, and extended our lead. Because Terra CLX II is a hooked rim, you’re able to ride almost any tire and pressure. Thanks to the 25mm internal width, they work seamlessly with 28-47c tires (up to 80 PSI), giving you options to customize your setup for what’s ahead. Using Roval LFD hubs, still spinning on DT Swiss 180 hub internals, Terra CLX II continues to provide flawless ride quality. The wheelset is designed as a system with our engineers controlling and testing every part of that system-hubs, rims, spokes, lacing-and developing it hand-in-hand with Specialized Tubeless tires. The result is a 1250-gram tubeless wheelset with otherworldly ride quality. The Alpinist CLX II utilizes a hooked rim (allowing for real-world riding pressures up to 110psi, if that's your thing) for secure tire bead retention and an easier set up and mounting experience than ever before. All in a wheel that almost doubles current industry impact standards while managing to achieve the lightest weight possible. Our all-new LightAF hubs are the spinning heart of the Alpinist CLX II. We carved 50 grams out of the previous Alpinist CLX hub with new low-profile hub bodies and machined rotor mounts. Inside, DT Swiss EXP internals and SINC ceramic bearings deliver silky-smooth efficiency and outstanding durability. - Rim: Alpinist CLX Carbon Clincher, 700c, Disc Brake, Tubeless - Rim Details: 33mm Depth, 27mm External Width, 21mm Internal Width - Hub: Roval Light Hub (LFD13/LF14R) Center Lock, DT Swiss 180 Ratchet EXP 36t internals (10 degs), 100x12mm & 142x12mm, Shim. Taking the notion of combining flagship performance with workhorse dependability one step further, we're introducing the Terra C. This shares the same hub and spoke architecture as the Terra CL, ensuring ease of service and spoke replacement, should the need arise and is paired with an entirely new rim layup. The rims on the Terra C share the same dimensions and broad range of tire mounting possibilities as the Terra CLX and CL—33mm deep with a 25mm internal width—but are crafted using a new-to-us process known as Resin Transfer Molding. This is an automated process that allows us to very precisely control how resin is introduced to the layup, which in turn ensures maximum strength and material performance. The end result is an incredibly tough set of wheels that you can beat on to hell and back. - Rim: Terra C RTM Carbon Clincher, 700c, Disc Brake, Tubeless Compatible - Rim Details: 32mm Depth, 30mm External Width, 25mm Internal Width; ERD 577mm - Hub: DT Swiss 370 J-bend Center Lock, Ratchet LN 18t internals (20 degs), 100x12mm & 142x12mm, Shim. Following directly in the tire tracks of the Terra CLX, the new Terra CL utilizes the same super-light, incredibly tough rim as our flagship wheel. It's a hook-bead, 33mm deep carbon fiber rim with a 25mm inner width that plays well with tubeless setup and allows you to mount tires anywhere from 28mm to 47mm wide at whatever pressure you feel like running. In a nod to accessibility, durability and real-world serviceability, we opted to use ultra-dependable DT Swiss 350 hubs and lace them to the rims with DT Swiss Competition Straightpull spokes. The net effect of these changes is a wheelset that is almost as light as our incredibly light Terra CLX, offering close to the same benchmark performance but with more easily sourced spokes in the event of some back-of-beyond carnage, all with a price tag that is about half that of our flagship product. - Rim: Terra CLX Carbon Clincher, 700c, Disc Brake, Tubeless Compatible - Rim Details: 32mm Depth, 30mm External Width, 25mm Internal Width; ERD 577mm - Hub: DT Swiss 350 Straight-pull Center Lock, Star Ratchet 36t internals (10 degs), 100x12mm & 142x12mm, Shim.
