BUILDING BETTER BICYCLING

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
– Margaret Mead, American cultural anthropologist

Better bicycling — for a better world!

Everyone at Landry's believes in the power of bicycling to make our world a better place. That's why we support the following organizations:

MassBike

MassBike

The Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition promotes a bicycle-friendly environment and encourages bicycling for fun, fitness, and transportation. MassBike supports local bike paths, road improvements, cycling skills classes, local bike committees, and pro-bike legislation at both the state and national levels. Landry's is a long-time MassBike supporter.

Bicycle-Friendly Communities

The Bicycle-Friendly Community program is an influential initiative of the League of American Bicyclists for communities and states to improve their bike infrastructure and provide a positive environment for cyclists.

The LivableStreets Alliance believes that "complete streets" and better transportation systems can make Metro-Boston more connected — and more livable. The organization challenges people to think differently and to demand a system that balances transit, walking, and biking with automobiles. Landry's is a LivableStreets sponsor.

National Bike Summit

National Bike Summit

Organized by the League of American Bicyclists and held in Washington, D.C., the National Bike Summit is focused on improving bicycling conditions at the national, state, and local levels. The conference is held annually in March. MassBike and Landry's staff participate in this annual conference.
